Introduction

Meridia just released a new feature called the Resolution Report. It is an automated report designed to make your workflow faster and more effective after running a risk assessment.

This tool helps you turn results into a clear, structured and shareable PDF report automatically, so you can spend less time chasing details and more time taking action.

Why is this important?

Whether you’re working with suppliers, co-operatives, or directly with field teams, one of the biggest challenges is communicating findings and required actions clearly. The Resolution Report solves this by producing a ready-to-share PDF that is structured, easy to understand, and works offline, making it perfect for handing over to colleagues, suppliers, or partners in the field.

How to Use Resolution Report Generation on Meridia Verify Portal

Step 01: Generate a Report

From within the application, you can choose to create a Resolution Report on an entire dataset or focus on a smaller scope.

  • Option 01: Generating a full report for an entire dataset.

You can extract the full report from the 'Summary' tab. You can click on the 'Generate Report' option under the dataset description block, where you can click to extract the report.

  • Option 02: Generating a report for a specific test.

You can generate a report for farm records related to a specific test, such as the DEF04 deforestation test.

This can also be accessed directly from the 'Summary' tab. You can navigate to the test contributing to the critical risk profile, where you will find the 'Generate Report' button.

  • Option 03: Generating a report for a filtered group of farm plots.

Navigate to the 'Farmplots' tab, where you can use the query builder to filter the farm plots’ risk profiles for a test and 'Generate Report' from there.

Step 02: Understand the Report Structure

Once generated, the report is presented as a clear PDF with several useful sections:

1- Title Page: Sets the stage with the dataset name and basic information.

2-Table of Contents: For easy navigation between sections. You can also click on the test code to be taken directly to the test details and the farm records’ risk scoring for that test.

3- Report Summary: A snapshot of the dataset in question, highlighting key elements.

4- Test Details: Explains what the issue is, why it matters, and what thresholds were applied.

5- Affected Farm Plots: Lists all plots impacted by a given test, with detailed breakdowns.

6- Corrective and Preventive Actions: Suggested practical steps to address risks, tailored to each test result.

At the end of this process, you have a professional, structured, and action-oriented report. It brings clarity to complex datasets, ensures everyone is on the same page, and supports timely corrective actions. Ultimately, it makes your day-to-day operations smoother and more efficient.

Important considerations

  • Reports can be customised to focus only on relevant data (tests or filtered plots).

  • The generated PDF is suitable for offline use, ideal for on-field visits. It can be taken into the field and used without internet access.

  • Automated generation is available for advanced teams via API.

  • For teams working at scale or integrating with internal systems, automated report generation via API is supported. This allows for seamless workflows and reduces manual effort.

Summary

This feature is basically adding a PDF generator to Meridia Verify portal, but more than that, it is enabling communication that helps you act faster, explain findings clearly, and collaborate effectively with suppliers, co-operatives, or field partners.

We hope this feature helps make your work just a little bit easier, and we’d love to hear your thoughts as Meridia continues to refine this feature.
