Introduction
Meridia Verify Portal has introduced a new feature called Test Details, which enhances the user experience by providing comprehensive insights into each test.
This feature allows users to access critical information such as methodology versions, test groups, and severity thresholds. In this tutorial, we will explore how to navigate this feature in the Test panel and Results section, ensuring you maximise its benefits.
Access from Test Panel
The Test panel is the primary location where users can access the list of available tests in the Meridia Verify Portal.
Upon entering the Test panel, users will see a categorised list of tests based on Methodology Version. The tests are categorised into two main groups: Compliance and Data Quality. These categories help users filter the tests effectively, allowing for easier navigation and selection.
Each test entry includes a See Test Details button. Clicking this button reveals a summary containing:
Short description of the test;
Technical details;
Background and exceptions, and;
Severity thresholds (Critical Risk, High Risk, Medium Risk, Low Risk).
By accessing these details, users can better understand the conditions under which a dataset is classified under different risk levels.
Access from Results Panel
Once a dataset is uploaded and processed, users can also use this new feature check the test results in the Results section.
Each dataset result now contains a Test Details button. Clicking this button provides the same comprehensive information about the test that was applied to the dataset.
For example, if a dataset is flagged with a Critical Risk in a specific test (e.g., DEF01), users can view the test background, technical details, and the specific conditions that triggered the risk classification.
For users needing a more granular analysis, the portal allows navigation beyond dataset-level summaries.
If a dataset contains multiple farm plots flagged as high-risk or critical-risk, users can click on each farm plot to access its specific test details. This deeper level of insight helps users pinpoint issues at a more detailed level and take appropriate corrective actions.
Conclusion
The Test Details feature in Meridia Verify Portal is a powerful addition, offering enhanced transparency and deeper insights into test results. By allowing users to view methodology versions, categorise tests, and examine severity thresholds, this feature significantly improves data validation and risk assessment.
We hope this feature proves valuable in your workflow. Thank you for exploring this tutorial!
