This tutorial explains the 'Usability Analytics' page, which allows you to view and track your consumption and storage as per your contract.
Here is an overview of what this page allows you to view:
track your consumption as per your subscription plan in real-time
view subscription plan details, including limits and reset dates
see insights into your usage data, such as farm plots, hectares, and datasets created
view statistics like consumption and storage broken down by origin, commodity, or creator.
real-time updates after dataset tests are uploaded
You can either watch the short video walkthrough below, or if you prefer to read you can find the step-by-step written guide below.
Where to find it?
The usage analytics page can be found at the bottom of the sidebar navigation. On this page, there are several key features presented as cards.
The profile selector is located in the top-left of the page header. Click it to open a dropdown of your available verification profiles — for example, Data Quality or EUDR. Selecting a profile updates the page to show consumption and storage figures for that profile only, so you can understand your usage per verification type.
Real-Time Updates
You can see at the top right when the page was last updated. It is refreshed every time a new dataset is completed, providing near real-time updates.
The top row displays your pricing plan, the limit associated with their plan, and when the limit will reset.
High-Level Statistics
Customers can view key statistics, including:
The total hectares of data verified since the start of their billing period.
The number of farm plots and datasets created.
For example, Meridia Company has verified over 5,850 hectares so far.
Farm Plot Statistics
Consumption: The total number of unique farm plots analysed once. You will also see your remaining limit
Storage: The total count of all farm plots analysed, including repeat analyses. The limit for storage is ten times higher than the limit for consumption.
Additional Filters
The breakdown of consumption and storage can be viewed by origins, commodities, creators, entities and API/portal.
Origins: In this example, most farm plots verified come from Brazil.
Commodities: In this example, in Consumption, Soy contributes the most to the annual quota usage because its hectare value is much larger. For Storage, Coffee appears to be the highest because it takes the largest portion of the stored cumulative hectares.
Creators: In this example, PS has created the most.
Entities: By viewing entities you can view by supplier. In this example, we can see the split for our main company, Meridia, versus our supplier.
API/Portal: This view allows me to see how much data I have uploaded using the API versus directly onto the portal.
Pagination and filters allow users to refine their view and exclude specific items. You can unselect by clicking on the origin, commodity, creator below the visualisation bar.
In the example below, for origins, I have unselected Brazil and the Republic of the Congo for both the consumption and the storage view.
Trends and Graphics
The Usage trends graph displays the number of unique hectares verified on a monthly timescale, helping you understand how your usage changes over time.
Each line represents a single category — for example, an origin — so you can see at a glance which areas contribute most to your consumption.
You can refine the graph using the controls at the top:
Entities and Creators: filter the trends to show data for a specific entity or creator, or leave both set to "All" to see everything.
Units: toggle between Hectares and Farm plots, depending on how your contract measures usage.
View by: switch between Origins, Commodities, and Total to group the data by country of origin, by commodity, or as a single combined trend.
The graph spans across contract cycles. A shaded area labelled "Previous contract cycle" marks usage from your earlier contract period, with a divider separating it from your current cycle. This makes it easy to compare consumption between past and current contracts.
Hovering over the legend at the bottom lets you identify each line by its category (for example, by origin country).
Customising Units and Views
Customers with older contracts have limits defined by farm plots, while newer contracts are measured in hectares. Users can toggle between these units.
Data views can be customised further by origin or commodity.
Exceeded Limits
A notification is displayed on all pages when consumption or storage approaches of exceeds 90% of the subscription plan limit. This will show as a red bar at the top of your screen when you login. You then have the option to email our support team directly by clicking the button.
Conclusion
The platform offers real-time updates and in-depth insights into dataset usage, farm plot statistics, and consumption trends. Users can customise views, apply filters, and track data across different entities and contributors. With flexible unit toggling and exceeded limit notifications, the system ensures transparency and efficient data management.
