The changelog below will highlight what has changed between this new version and the previous version.

Release notes summary

This release covers two main changes:

  • The new test GET11 aims at helping users that want to upload their data onto the Information System of the deforestation regulation (EUDR IS). The EUDR IS has some specific data requirements that this new test collectively evaluates. Any farm plots that might either fail, or are edited by the EUDR IS will be surfaced by this test.

  • The new country support for Indonesia with regards to IPLC areas is being released. This means that users are able to see whether they are sourcing from farm plots that overlap with indigenous peoples’ lands. Additionally, a mitigation package is available to help understand specific overlaps.

Background

GET11

v1.00

This is a new test, aiming to identify all farm records that are either rejected or modified when uploading to the EUDR Information System. Mimicking the EUDR IS, all coordinates will be rounded to six decimals.

This test is designed to identify all farm records that are either rejected (critical risk) or altered (high risk) when uploading and submitting on the EUDR IS. Users who are planning to upload their datasets to the EUDR IS, should be able to quickly identify farm records that need review using the outcomes of this test.

Important note: Other tests have (partly) been serving this purpose, among others GET04, and ATT04. In the next release, these tests will be affected:

GET04: will be reverted to v1.00, thereby identifying all duplicates, irrelevant of whether or not the EUDR IS accepts them.

ATT04: will be deprecated

LGL03

v1.00

We are adding support for IPLC areas in Indonesia. The overall coverage for LGL03 is thereby:

  • Indonesia

  • Brazil

  • Colombia

  • Costa Rica

  • Ecuador

  • Mexico

  • Nicaragua

  • Paraguay

  • Peru

  • Venezuela

Indonesia’s estimated number of Indigenous Peoples is between 50 and 70 million people (IWGIA, 2025). In terms of formal acknowledgement, the government recognises 1,331 ethnic groups, using the Masyarakat hukum adat to refer to Indigenous Peoples in general and Komunitas adat terpencil to refer to geographically isolated Indigenous Peoples in specific. These IPLC groups have specific territories and communal land rights recognised under customary law.

The LGL03 test identifies any farm plots overlapping with any of the recognised areas.
